Supplies:

Step 1

Using a medium setting, iron the shiny side of the freezer paper to the back of the cotton muslin. Cut to size 8 1/2 inches X 11 inches.

Step 2

Size the photo you want to use. To do this, open up the photo on your computer and size to at least 4 inches on each edge. Make sure the photo will be slightly larger than the embroidery hoop but not too large that it cuts off important elements in the photograph.

Place the cotton muslin face down in your HP Officejet Pro 8610 AiO Printer printer tray and print.

Step 3

Take your embroidery hoop and paint the outside ring with acrylic paint. Allow to completely dry.

Step 4

Remove the freezer paper from the back of the cotton muslin. Then, place the embroidery hoop around the photo on top, place the inside piece behind it and tighten the screw on the embroidery hoop.

Step 6

Remove the cover from your night light and hot glue the hoop to the night light so it covers the light.

Enjoy the night light!
