Print out 12-25 photos and create a Christmas countdown with photos! Decorate your room, decorate the dorm or create a centerpiece for the whole family. I used a small, battery-operated string of lights, to create our Christmas photo tree, but twine would work great too.
- HP Sprocket Photo Printer
- HP ZINK Sticky-backed Photo Paper
- Small string of lights or twine
- Tacks or tape
Note: if you don’t have mini clips, you can paperclip or even use the photo paper sticky back to attach your photos to your photo tree.
I recommend laying everything out on a table or the floor so you can get an idea of the sizing you need. Your string tree size will vary depending on how many photos you print and what size photo paper you use.
Set up your string tree (see before and after photo below). I used tacks to attach my mini-lights to the wall, but you can use tape or another adhesive that works before for you.
Attach photos to string light using mini clips.
Tip: when printing photos from your Sprocket, you can send more than one photo to the print cue. So you can work on all your photos instead of waiting for each photo to print before adding a new photo.
You can put all your photos up at once or add a photo a day until Christmas. Print your favorite photos from the past year, or of your friends and family or print a photo a day and attach them as you go along. There are so many fun ways to decorate for Christmas with your own photo Christmas tree!
