In today’s post I will be using the HP Sprocket Plus! With the Sprocket Plus, the pictures are a little bigger than the original 2×3 pictures. The HP ZINK paper is 2.3×3.4 and they have an adhesive backing which makes it super snazzy! Did I mention this device does not use any ink! That is a win for anyone, right! My favorite thing about the Sprocket is how tiny it is. This makes it easy to throw in a bag and pull out when you want to share a moment with someone. It’s really cool to print a picture and give it to someone in a few seconds.
Let’s get started!
- HP Sprocket Plus Photo Printer
- HP Sprocket Plus Sticky-backed Photo Paper
- Hole Puncher
- Faux Tree Branches or Live Ones
- Different size vases
- Small Canvas
- Mini Paper Clips (Optional)
Now it’s time to turn your Sprocket on. Make sure you have the Sprocket app downloaded on your phone. Once you turn on the Sprocket it will sync up to your phone. When this happens you will hit allow on your phone.
Choose a picture from your album that you want to print. You will see different options on your app at this point and you will click “camera roll”. Once you click on the picture it will pop up on your Sprocket app. There will be a little green button at the bottom light up , once you click on the green button it will send a signal to the Sprocket allowing it to deliver a magical picture within seconds.
Once your pictures are all printed out grab your hole puncher and make a punch on the top portion of the picture.
After you punch the holes grab your scissors and round the edges of each picture. This is completely optional however I think it adds a cute touch to the picture.
Once you have all your pictures punched and rounded it’s time to grab your twine and start hanging all of your pictures on your tree branches. P.S. If you use live branches make sure to add water to the vases so they last a decent amount of time.
Another thing I did was use a small canvas and with a Sharpie I wrote “Grateful For” on it. I thought this would be cute to display below the tree.
