I think that is a wonderful idea. I'm going to make one for each of my grandchildren, they love to read but never have a bookmarker and it also will help keep track of how much they are reading.

My son is 17 now but when he was little we played the "That Doesn't Go There" game. It is a game I made up to help him learn to put his toys away. I gave him clues as to where a toy was that wasn't put away...he job was to find it and run to his room and put it away...then run back to me and ring a bell. Then I would give him his next clue. I sometimes moved a Hot Wheel to a silly place like in the refrigerator. Once he found it I had to run it to his room, put it away then run back and ring the bell. He loved running fast to get his toys put away and especially loved watching Mom run to put away his refrigerated toys.
